Which audio file formats are supported?
Mixo Player supports MP3, FLAC, M4A / ALAC, and WAV. Importing is filtered to these formats so the library stays predictable and stable.
How do Bluetooth speakers and audio outputs work?
Mixo Player uses macOS CoreAudio to show connected speakers, AirPods, headphones, USB DACs, and built-in outputs. An AirPlay route picker is also available when a wireless route is available.
How do I add my music library?
Open Settings → Library Sync, click Add Folder, choose a music folder, and select Sync Now. Your original files remain in their existing locations.
How does Metadata Editor edit files?
Metadata Editor writes tags directly to MP3, WAV, FLAC, and M4A files. It also supports embedded artwork and MusicBrainz lookup for verified track details.
Can I try Mixo Player before buying?

Is there an equalizer?
Yes. Mixo Player includes a professional-grade, built-in 10-band equalizer.
Does Mixo Player have a compact mode?
Yes. Compact Mode displays album artwork and playback controls, lets you favorite the current song, and provides access to the current album’s playlist.
Can I view lyrics for a song?
Yes. Mixo Player integrates with LRCLIB for lyrics lookup. You can also download lyrics for your entire collection.
Does Mixo Player support ReplayGain?
Yes. ReplayGain can be enabled from Settings, with separate Track and Album modes.
Can I import and export playlists?
Yes. You can import and export playlists in M3U format from Favorites and custom playlists.
